New Forensic Research Has Experts Suggesting Kurt Cobain’s Death was Homicide

In April of 1994, lead singer of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, was found dead in his home in Seattle, Washington. When Cobain was found by Seattle Police they declared his death as suicide by a self inflicted shot to the head via shot gun.

Now 32-years later a new team has conducted their own investigation into the musicians death and have come back with their own research that has them raising eye brows at the suicide label. Whilst they have not been able to fully rule out that the shot gun wound was self inflicted, they’ve broken down several elements that make the suicide label more and more unlikely.

The team found that Cobain at the time of passing had more than three times a lethal dose amount of morphine in his system, which would make him nearly catatonic and unable to move. Cobain was well known for drug addiction, however the team pushes that the amount in his system would have made lifting the weapon extremely unlikely. The team now suggests that Cobain was given forcibly given a higher amount of drugs than standard to make him compliant to which they then shot him and placed the suicide not. Additionally the amount of drugs in his system at the time of death would have killed him anyway even if the gun shot had not occurred.

Other signs point to this, with the drugs he last used was found quite far from his actual body. The team that conducted the research have declared that the entire scene felt like it was staged like a movie with a receipt for both the shot gun shells and the weapon found in Cobain’s pockets, and shotgun shells were placed by his feet. The team is also suspicious about the suicide note itself. All are in agreement that the top of the note is definitely written by Kurt Cobain, but this segment only discusses him quitting the band and has no mention of suicide. Extra paragraphs read differently from the opening remarks and the text allegedly appears to be different. When commenting on the letter Michelle Wilkins, a member of the research team, said that the part where he says goodbye to his family “the text is a little bit different… It’s bigger, it’s … looks more scrawly”. Michelle Wilkins continued and on the overall passing said:

“This is a homicide. We’ve got to do something about this… Suicides are messy, and this was a very clean scene… The necrosis of the brain and liver happens in an overdose. It doesn’t happen in a shotgun death… The top of the note is written by Kurt … there’s nothing about suicide in that. It’s basically him just talking about quitting the band,” – Michelle Wilkins, Independent Researcher

So, more drugs in his system to kill a horse, a crime scene that looked like it was a staged film, a suicide note that looks to be written by two different hands and minds, an autopsy with inconsistencies, and even Courtney Love (Cobain’s wife) at the time asked a private investigator to conduct their own investigation after not agreeing with Seattle Polices suicide ruling. There are indeed many signs pointing towards the fact that all may not be as it seemed back in April of 1994.
