An update on the Joy Baluch Bridge upgrades in Port Augusta.
Night works are planned for 2 weeks starting next Monday from 6 pm to 6 am, to facilitate stormwater drainage and safety screen installation.
During this time, the westbound Augusta Highway carriageway between Flinders Terrace and Caroona Road will be closed, diverting traffic to the eastbound Augusta Highway carriageway.

Daytime speed and lane restrictions will also occur intermittently until late September.
Drivers are asked to stay alert to signage, follow traffic controllers’ guidance, and drive cautiously in the work zone.
