The 19th TACTIC Conference and Trade Expo concludes today in Port Augusta, highlighting the role of green hydrogen production in South Australia’s economic growth.
Coinciding with this event, the SA Government have released two publications aimed at showcasing local businesses’ capabilities in the state’s green hydrogen sector.
The Hydrogen Industry Supplier Directory features numerous firms capable of contributing to the hydrogen supply chain and the Statement of Capacity: Hydrogen Supply Chain Mapping outlines businesses’ specific capabilities, allowing the government to match them with hydrogen-related projects and jobs.
South Australia’s investment of over half a billion dollars into green hydrogen, starting in 2025, is projected to create jobs and advance the renewable energy sector, aligning with the state’s net zero carbon emissions goals by 2050.
