A teenager has had his car impounded after he was caught driving erratically on a beach on Yorke Peninsula.
On Monday evening, patrols observed a vehicle doing donuts on the beach at North Beach.
The white Holden sedan was seen to spin for approximately 10 seconds before coming to a stop.

Police spoke with the probationary driver, an 18-year-old from Moonta Bay and reported him for misuse of a motor vehicle.
His car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
