A teenage girl has faced court after being arrested twice in two days in Whyalla.
Police allege the teenage girl entered a bottle shop on Viscount Slim Avenue in Whyalla Norrie around 9:45am on Tuesday, where she assaulted a staff member and stole several bottles of alcohol before fleeing the scene.
The victim didn’t sustain any physical injuries in the alleged incident.
Following investigations, police arrested the 17-year-old that same afternoon and charged her with aggravated robbery. She was initially refused police bail, however was granted it later following a Magistrate review.
Around 11am on Wednesday, the same teen allegedly entered a bottle shop on Nicolson Avenue, again stealing multiple bottles of alcohol.
She was subsequently arrested at a nearby home.
The local girl was charged with theft, breach of bail and hindering police.
She was refused bail and appeared in the Whyalla Youth Court on Wednesday afternoon.
