In a bid to address housing shortages in regional South Australia, the State Government has unveiled a strategic housing development plan in Moonta Bay.
The plan will see the construction of four new homes on a 2150-square-meter site.
These homes are part of the Regional Key Worker Housing Scheme, aimed at providing critical housing for teachers, healthcare professionals, and emergency service workers.

This initiative is designed to address skills shortages and ease local housing supply pressures.
Construction is set to begin early next year, with the first tenants expected to move in by mid-2025.
This is part of the government’s broader $474.7 million housing package.
