The 2023 South Australian Training Awards finalists have been revealed by the South Australian Skills Commission.
In the Large Employer of the Year category, the finalists are the CFS and Port Pirie’s Nyrstar.
The award acknowledges large businesses excelling in providing nationally recognized training to their employees.

Nyrstar, operating for over a century, has 1,078 apprentices trained since 1949.
More than 90% of their apprentices from the past five years secured permanent on-site roles, benefiting the Mid-North and Upper Spencer Gulf region.
The winner will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on September 21.
