Coastal conservation is seeing a boost at Port Broughton, as Barunga West Council undertake a Sand Replenishment Program.
The Program began in March 2023 with the help of funding from the Coastal Protection Board, and has now reached the halfway point.
Barunga West Council is now gearing up for the next phase, with beach nourishment at West Terrace and other key sites scheduled for 2024 to further stabilise the coastline and secure it against erosion risks.
