A loss to the Port Augusta community, as the local Scout Group announced it will be closing at the end of the year.
The troop thanked all of the leaders and members over the groups history, along with local individuals and businesses that had supported them.
A goodbye Christmas party is planned for all past and present people.

While a reason hasn’t been given leader Shelley Ellis mentioned earlier in the year the need for new leaders to volunteer.
