Local Businesses Are Creating Award Winning Produce

Some local businesses are creating award winning produce.

The 2023 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards announced it’s winners last week recognising businesses for their exceptional accomplishments and contribution to the food and beverage manufacturing industry.

Laura based Classic Ice Cream brand Golden North won the New Product Award while the Primary Producer Award went to Sundrop Farms based in Port Augusta.

Premier Peter Malinauskas said the food and beverage industry in South Australia remains a vital part of the state’s growing economy and that the awards reflects the passion, innovation and dedication that characterises SA’s food and beverage industry.
