A new tribute to Vietnam veterans will be officially unveiled in Edithburgh on Monday 18 August, marking Vietnam Veterans Day.
The Vietnam War Memorial Walk will be opened by special guest General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove – former Governor-General and Chief of the Australian Defence Force.
The ceremony begins at 11am at the Edithburgh Golf Course, with attendees invited to gather from 10:30am.
Highlights include a genuine Huey helicopter from the Vietnam War, VIP speakers, and a concert by John Schumann and the Vagabond Crew.
All are welcome to attend and reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who served in Vietnam.
The project is proudly supported by Veterans SA’s ANZAC Day Commemoration Fund.
