The SA Supreme Court has been approached to place temporary conditions on Snowtown murder accomplice Mark Haydon.

This would see the 65-year-old monitored by the government and his movements restricted upon his release from jail.

Haydon’s prison sentence ends on 20 May, and he’s been in a pre-release centre since April preparing for life outside.

The court is set to reconvene in two weeks to consider the interim application, meaning Haydon could potentially be released before a decision.
