Port Augusta is set to get a splash of colour this week with new interactive footpath designs being installed across the city.
The thermoplastic artworks are going in at Sid Welk Park, the Eastside Foreshore near the skate park, View Street Park in Willsden, and along the walking path from Beckman Street to Great Western Plains Road in Stirling North.
Part of the Steps to Grow project, the designs were created with input from local primary school students. The project is funded by Communities for Children Port Augusta and managed by Council’s Community Development Team.
Residents are asked to avoid barricaded areas while works are underway.
