It’s a big nomination for the town of Port Broughton, with the Barunga West Council recently named as a finalist at this year’s Local Government Leadership Awards.
The Council receiving the recognition for the Port Broughton Civic Square redevelopment in the Excellence in Infrastructure category.
The project has received positive feedback, notably for helping boost community space in the town.
