Bundaleer Forest and Orroroo Receiving Nearly $95,000 in Funding

Bundaleer Forest and Orroroo have been chosen as the first recipients of the Thriving Communities Program, receiving nearly $95,000 in funding.

The program, with a total budget of $600,000, aims to support infrastructure, services, and community well-being.

Bundaleer Forest will use the $50,000 grant for improved signage and mapping, while Orroroo’s Collective will implement a community garden, resilience workshops, and a Rural Women’s celebration event with their over $44 thousand funding.

Other projects benefiting from the program include Glencoe Woolshed, Naracoorte District Men’s Shed, and Millicent Golf Club. The program is still accepting grant applications until June 30, 2023, or until funds are fully allocated.
