A 2.8 Magnitude Earthquake Shook the Area Yesterday Morning

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook the area yesterday morning with an epicentre just 12km northwest of Tarlee.

It hit at 6:25am and shocks were felt across the Mid North and Clare.

Luckily, according to Geoscience Australia, the epicentre was also 10KM deep, so locals only slightly felt it.

Earlier this month, Burra was hit by a 2.6 magnitude earthquake that was felt up to 50km away.
