Great Global Greyhound Walk

The Greyhound Get-Togethers of Whyalla would like to invite you to our special “Great Global Greyhound Walk” on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 10am.
Each year, thousands of sight hounds around the world walk on the same day to promote and demonstrate what wonderful pets they make, and bring positive awareness to these beautiful breeds!
Our group walks regularly on the first Sunday of every month (at the same location and time), and once a year we get involved in this international event! Every sighthound will get a participation certificate! In 2023, 11,818 sighthounds (524 of those waiting to be adopted) walked in 458 organised walks across 36 Countries!
This year we will be raising money for the Greyhounds as Pets SA (GAP-SA) Association to help re-home more dogs!
So even if you don’t have a Greyhound, Whippet, Saluki, Wolfhound, or other sighthound, just come along, show your support and meet some beautiful dogs! There will be a raffle and some doggy and human treats for sale too!
