A man has been reported after police allegedly found multiple weapons in his possession during a wanding check.
Police stopped the man at the Westland Shopping Centre on Wednesday, where they allege he was carrying knuckle dusters, a folding knife and two hammers.
The weapons were seized, while the 30 year old was reported for carrying an offensive weapon and possessing a prohibited item.

He is expected to front court at a later date.
Police were granted powers in late 2025 to conduct wanding and weapons searches in certain declared shopping centres, including the Westland Shopping Centre.
