Woolworths and Zeus Street Greek have joined forces on a limited edition Woolworths roast chicken featuring Zeus Street Greek’s signature seasoning.
Landing in stores nationally this week, the chicken is seasoned with zesty lemon and herb flavours and stuffed with breadcrumbs spiced with smoky lemon, paprika, garlic and herbs.
Zeus Street Greek CEO Ramon Castillo said: “Our original seasoning is a celebration of authentic Greek flavours that our customers know and love. Bringing the taste of our Zeus Street Greek original seasoning to the Woolies’ hot roast chicken means more Aussies can enjoy a little taste of Zeus at home.
“This collaboration is a great continuation of our partnership with Woolworths, which already stocks a range of 15 products, including signature rubs, sauces and DIY pita kits.”

The original version of the roast chicken first graced Woolworths stores in 1960, and since then has become an Aussie favourite with more than 20 million picked up by customers every year. Over the years Woolworths has also launched other limited-edition chooks including Garlic Bread, BBQ Memphis and Tandoori.
