The Port Augusta Council has confirmed plans to demolish 34 Commercial Road due to serious structural concerns.
The building formerly housed Peppers Cafe, with its future determined following extensive discussions between the Council and the property owner and representatives.
Two independent engineering reports also found the building poses public safety risks.

A demolition contractor has been appointed, with works expected to begin the week of November 17.
It’s expected to be finished before the Christmas Pageant and Commercial Road Markets.
