Learn to Row – Port Pirie

Spring has sprung, and the 2025-6 rowing season is upon us. Port Pirie Rowing Club has commenced weekday rowing on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6 a.m. and is commencing Saturday morning rowing (for beginners and others who only want to row on Saturdays) on October 11 at 8 a.m., from our boatshed at 61 Main Road Port Pirie, adjoining the western boundary of the Main Road boat ramp car park. We are contacting last year’s members to ascertain their intentions for this season, but if you have rowed in previous years and would like to get back into it, or if you are a non-rower, but would like to give rowing a try, ring Port Pirie Rowing Club chairman Michael Preece (0428 881 423), captain Peter Munday (0420 933 657) or secretary Bill Othams (8632 6371 or 0427 492 123), or just come to the boatshed on October 11.  We would love to see, or hear from, you!  If the days and times mentioned do not suit you, tell us what days and times you would prefer, and we will try to accommodate you.  We have singles, doubles, fours and eights, so bring your friends!
