Three teenagers will face court, after they were allegedly caught driving a stolen car across the Mid North yesterday.

The stolen Suzuki Swift was reported seen travelling south on the Augusta Highway just before 11:30am, and was later spotted at Port Germein heading south on the Spencer Highway.

It’s understood the car had earlier been reported stolen from an address in Oakden.

The car finally stopped in Lochiel, with the three occupants arrested.

Two 16-year-old boys from Mawson Lakes and Elizabeth South and a 13-year-old girl from Port Augusta were charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and other offences.

The Mawson Lakes boy was charged with driving unlicenced.

All three have been bailed to front court at a later date.
