A young child has been found safe and well, nearly three hours after they reportedly ran off into scrubland near Port Victoria.
Police crews were called to Wauraltee Beach South just before 4pm yesterday following reports of a missing child.
It’s understood they had run away from their mother and gone missing in the scrub.

Emergency services conducted a ground search and used a drone to assist, with the child found safely a few hours later.
