Pierce Brosnan, One Of The Better Bond Actors, Reckons It's Time For A Female 007

Excuse me, hot content coming through.

Someone here has already called for Daniel Craig to be fired from being Bond, for extremely legitimate and not at all facetious reasons

Bond is on our lips once again (though unfortunately not literally).

GoldenEye star and one of the better actors who played James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, thinks it's high time we had a female 007.

Cheers to that, Pierce.

When asked whethera female should assume the role of 007, he told The Hollywood Reporter "Yes! I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years, get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting.”

However he did say he doubted it would happen any time soon with the current Producers of the franchise.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen with the Broccolis. I don’t think that is going to happen under their watch.”

As always, Piers Morgan has felt the need to weigh in on what was quite wholesome content, suggesting that James Bond can only be a male, and deviating would be "idiotic" and "virtue-signalling".

The same argument was brought up about Spiderman, when there was discussion that Donald Glover would be a good fit for the new movie.

As Spiderman has always been performed by men, specifically anglo-saxon, the concept is that any deviation would, ironically, pale in comparison.

While the world keeps tweeting I'll be reading fanfic and hoping some new heroes and villians emerge, in whatever shape or form that may be.

I'll also be watching Pierce Brosnan's highlight reel.
