The coronavirus strikes again, causing Tom Cruise to flee Italy to the UK.
Cruise was reportedly forced to halt Mission Impossible 7 filming, after Venice was deemed a ‘high-risk area’ by Italian authorities.
Venice was the first location for production on the latest instalment of the film, with the movie scheduled to shoot in the city for three weeks.
Italy reported its seventh death from the coronavirus on Monday, with the number of cases in the country now just over 200.
Due to the huge number of people on set production decided to halt production despite the high costs of doing so.
There is no word as of yet whether filming will commence again in the city.
