The Port Pirie Regional Council has recieved 1 million dollars in drought relief funding from the Federal Government.
The Port Pirie Regional Council is one of the fifteen councils supported by the Federal Government Drought Communities Program to help build resilience against future droughts.
Mayor Leon Stephens ensures "This funding will be well recieved by our communities and is an economic stimulus for our local economy."
The Port Pirie Regional Council will learn more about the conditions of the funds and provide more detail when it becomes available.
