A woman has faced a Sydney court after two toddlers suffered suspected drug overdoses and had to be taken to hospital.
The girls, aged one and three, were found unresponsive in a home at Bidwell by emergency services on August 8, police say.
The children were taken to the Children's Hospital at Randwick in a serious condition before being transferred to Mount Druitt Hospital. They were later released.
The woman, who was 26 when charged in September, faced Mount Druitt Local Court on Wednesday accused of intentionally abandoning or exposing a young child to a danger of death and neglecting a child in her care.
The matter is scheduled to return to the same court on November 20.
