A local teenager has been arrested and has faced court over recent break-ins at Port Augusta.
Police allege that between Friday and Sunday, a house on Holder Avenue was broken into and property was stolen.
The same offender is alleged to have attempted to break into another house in the area.
Following an investigation Port Augusta patrols arrested a 16-year-old Port Augusta teenager.
Police searched the house and located property alleged to have been stolen from the break-in.
The youth was charged with serious criminal trespass, attempt aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and breach of bail. He was refused bail and appeared in the Port Augusta Youth Court.
