Crystal Brook Library Booked in for Renovations

book.jpgThe Crystal Brook library is set to undergo renovations with the Port Pirie Regional Council investing $400,000 into the project.
In the coming months the works will include upgrading the existing council office, which will become the library and then the existing library, which will become a community meeting room.
Director of Infrastructure Kathryn Johnson says the project is expected to take two to three months to complete.
She says they are in the early stages of demolition and asbestos removal that will be removed under controlled conditions with hopes the project will be finished by the end of August.
The council has advised library visitors that the toilets will be closed during the refurbishment but will be upgraded to be compliant to disability standards.
