Three local businesses make 2017 Regional Showcase finalists list

award.jpgBurra’s Princess Royal Station, Port Augusta’s Sundrop Farms and Port Pirie’s Hip Hop Bounce studio, are into the top 15 state finalists list for the 2017 Regional Showcase.

There were more than 100 regional business and community groups on that list, which became 30, and finally 15, after more than 3000 people made their votes.

There are three pear trophy awards up for grabs, with the winners announced at the state Celebration Evening on Friday October 6 in Whyalla.

For Sundrop farms in Port Augusta it’s the third award nomination in less than two years, after they made their way into the finalists list for the 2017 INDEX awards last month, and in 2016 took out the international tomato award.
