Port Augusta netballers make state team

netball.jpgFour Port Augusta junior Netball players have played their way into the South Australia Nunda representative Netball team.
The four girls: Kaylanah Reid 14, Shalana Cox 12, Shaniqwa Stuart 13, and Teraleyha Coulthard 13, made the trip to Adelaide a few weeks ago to trial, and have been selected for the squad to play at the Budgies Junior netball carnival on the Gold Coast in January.
The four girls were the only ones selected from Port Augusta and part of a small number chosen across regional SA.
Mother of Kaylanah, Taria Warren, says the girls are positive role models for the younger regional generation, and says it proves that hard work dedication and sacrifice does pay off.

The four girls have a gofundme page up, to help them raise the money to make the tournament.
