Flinders’ Ranges Hawker Memorial Hospital’s $110,000 Upgraded

Upgrades to the Flinders’ Ranges Hawker Memorial Hospital have been completed, delivering improved services to staff, patients and visitors.

The $110,000 improvements are part of the federal government's Community Benefit Program for communities considering the site of the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility.

The upgrade included improved nurses' quarters, a community room, along with renovated bathrooms and laundry and was completed by local contractors.

The Community Benefit Program has helped with 57 projects and initiatives in the communities considering the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility.
