Local Port Pirie Band ‘Collateral Damage’ Nominated for SA Music Awards

Local Port Pirie Band ‘Collateral Damage’ have been nominated in this year’s SA Music Awards.

The band; which consists of 3 local teenagers from St Mark’s College have been recognised under the People's Choice Punk Artist category.

‘Collateral Damage’ have been playing gigs around the area and reordered a song called ‘Barbie Anthem’ which is on YouTube and Spotify.

The SAM Awards gives local artist the chance to showcase their talent to the rest of the country.

The South Australian music industry relies on audiences who continue to support local music, with 12 categories open to the public.

The winners of all 12 categories will be revealed November 22nd at Bonython Hall.

Voting closes tomorrow.
