Applications for the Clare & Gilbert Valley Council’s ‘Events Program Funding’ close tomorrow.
$30,000 worth of funding has been budgeted to provide financial support for new and profitable events in the community to help boost tourism.
Criteria for submissions vary across the New, Regional and Hallmark event categories.
Council’s Director for Development & Community Andrew Christiansen said that seed funding of up to $2,500 was available under the ‘New Events’ category.
Funding between five and fifteen thousand dollars is on offer for successful applications in the ‘Regional Event’ Category.
