CFS WEATHER WARNING

With hot and windy conditions forecast across South Australia today, the SA Country Fire Service (CFS) is urging people to delay burn offs until the weather eases, and to check on burns completed from earlier this week to make sure they are fully extinguished

CFS State Duty Commander Yvette Dowling said, "Due to a drier and warmer than average winter we will see Fire Danger Ratings rise quickly across most parts of the state tomorrow."

"With dry fuel loads and winds of up to 60kph tomorrow, we are asking people in areas of risk to delay any works or burn offs which could quickly result in large scale fires."

"This is also a timely reminder to ensure you have your property bushfire ready," Ms Dowling said.

The Fire Danger Season will be here soon, so now is the time to be prepared and make or update your Bushfire Survival Plan.
