Two drivers were caught drug driving in Port Pirie earlier this week as the month-long Operation High Impact Fatal 5 continues.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, a 31-year-old Port Pirie man tested positive for methamphetamine and was told not to drive for 24 hours.
An hour later, an 18-year-old Napperby man tested positive to cannabis and was issued two fines, one for drug possession and the other for failing to transfer ownership of the vehicle.
Both men have been summonsed to attend court at a later date.
Operation High Impact Fatal 5 targets the five main offences, being; drink and drug driving, speeding, distraction, seat belts and dangerous road users.
