Celebrating Aboriginal Art

NAIDOC WeekAn Aboriginal art gallery is having their grand opening this Saturday July 6th in Quorn.

'Jonas and Jaja' celebrated voice, treaty and truth with a NAIDOC Exhibition starting Sunday.

This event comes as the Malka Aboriginal Art Prize celebrates 10 years of Malka with an awards night next Monday.

Malka is a work used in many Aboriginal language groups in the region meaning ‘mark’ or ‘painting’.

Both events are open to the general public however you must RSVP for the awards.
