French renewable energy company, Neoen, has signed a 10-year deal for its flagship project just outside of Burra.
The contract will see 10 percent of the generation capacity from its Goyder South wind farm, sold to electricity retailer, Flow Power.
Neoen's Goyder Renewables Zone, has development approval for hundreds of megawatts of wind and solar generation, and battery storage, making it SA's largest renewable project.
Construction of 75 wind turbines is already underway with operations expected to begin in 2024.
