Tradies across the Spencer Gulf are being urged to take better care of their physical and mental health as part of a month-long awareness campaign.

Figures released for Tradies National Health Month reveal 1 in 4 tradespeople have taken extended periods off work because of an injury.

Zac Lowth, from the Australian Physiotherapy Association, says tradies have shouldered a lot during the pandemic but it's time to prioritise their health.
