Port Augusta Racing Club's Tradies Race Day gallops into action this morning (May 13) from 11am to 5pm.
Highlights of the Day include, Live Thoroughbred Racing, Pastoral Hotel Saloon for an icy cold drink, Bookmakers, Tote & Televised Racing and Best country hospitality.

The smell of burning rubber is set to fill the air this weekend, with the steel city dragway to host the Burnout Masters qualifying event.
There are two golden tickets to the big dance at Summernats up for grabs across the events tomorrow and Sunday.
Also involved in the day is a cruise the track event catering for the whole family, with a limited low speed burnout at the start line then a cruise of the track at no more than 60km.
Gates open at 9am tomorrow morning, with the meet closing at 5.30pm on Sunday.
