The Yorke Peninsula Council is looking for community feedback to create a new RV strategy, which will set the guidelines for future development on RV tourism in the region.
With a surge in people opting to holiday in South Australia due to COVID restrictions, sections of the community have reportedly called for the council to facilitate RV tourism by offering short to medium term overnight facilities for travellers.
The strategy will make recommendations based on economic and social benefits for the council region, cost of establishing facilities and the capacity of existing facilities.
Submissions can be emailed to the council or posted to council offices.
