Former Port Pirie local, Hugh Jackson is gaining a lot of attention from AFL clubs after a standout season in the SANFL.
Jackson managed an average of 34.7 disposals across his nine games with North Adelaide.
He is now awaiting draft night as he hopes to be picked and become part of Port Pirie’s exclusive list of locals who have made it in to the AFL; including Mark Bickley, Mark Jamar, Lewis Johnston and Sam Mayes.
Jackson recently played for the South Australia side in the under 19 side comp. against Western Australia in Perth, but unfortunately went down by 29 points.
His complete stats for this year's season with the Roosters; 19.1 kicks, 15.6 handballs, 7.4 marks, 3.6 tackles, 5.6 clearances, 6.0 inside 50s, 3.3 rebound 50s and 0.2 goals.
