The Port Pirie Regional Council are this week partnering with TLAP, to replace the soft fall at Memorial Park playground.
The crew are also set to move on to Woodward Park, Tennyson and lastly Solomontown Beach playgrounds over the coming days, to upgrade the facilities across the town.
The playgrounds will be closed off to the public for two to three days at a time. It is estimated that in total, the work will take up to two weeks to complete.
Soft fall is a specific grade of bark chip commonly used for playgrounds, to reduce the impact of falls and create a safer play environment for children.
