It was a big weekend in local footy around the region.
In the SGL, PropRisdon hosted South Augusta on Saturday and won handily against the reigning premiers 133 to 54, while Port and Central had a nail bitter, with a final score of 41 to 44 in Centrals’ favour.
A bit tighter across the board in the WFL with North Whyalla taking home the win against Central Whyalla by just 10 points.
Back in the Northern Areas League, Orroroo, Broughton-Mundoora and Booleroo Melrose Wilmington all ran away from their competition each finishing up with around 100-point wins.
BSR also ran over South Clare in the North Eastern League, finishing up on 163 to 44.
And in the YPFL we saw another nail bitter between Paskeville and Moonta – Moonta barely running away with it 84 to 82.
