Look Out For The Ghan's Makeover As It Heads Through Port Augusta

Next time you see the Ghan as it heads along the Spencer Gulf through Port Augusta and Port Pirie on its usual route to the NT, look out for a stunning new design on three of its carriages.

The Iconic train which spans some 750 plus metres, has been transformed into a moving piece of art by Tourism Northern Territory in collaboration with Aboriginal artist Chantelle Mulladad.

The service from Adelaide to Darwin is scheduled to pass through Port Pirie and Port Augusta every Sunday afternoon, after departing Adelaide at midday.
