The Copper Coast Masters Games kick off today on the Yorke Peninsula.
After a successful bid for the 25th Masters Games, the Copper Coast is set to play host the biggest event to date with an estimated 15-hundred local, regional, and interstate competitors across 4 days and 30 sports.
The Masters Games are a celebration of lifelong involvement in sport and a healthy life style for all South Aussies.
Sports which will feature in the line up include Basketball, Dragon Boat Racing, Archery, Bowls, Power-lifting and many more.
The Copper Coast joins Clare and Mount Gambier on the list of other famous mid north towns who have historically hosted the games.
The events will run from today until Sunday the 18th of April.
