Anti-Social Behaviour Update

local news

Port Augusta residents will soon see a coordinated response from local council and the state government on anti-social behaviour, following a meeting this week between Mayor Brett Benbow and Premier Steven Marshall.

Last month the Port Augusta City Council released a submission form for residents to report anti-social behaviour, receiving 160 reports since it was made available.

Mayor Benbow says "The state government have now committed to provide better coordinated resources around this problem, and they raised that the local Port Augusta Aboriginal leaders will be involved with what is spoken about and discussed, and whatever the resources put out will be."
