Roads have been reopened following a serious crash on the Augusta Highway.
Just after 6pm, police and emergency services were called to an area north of Snowtown, after reports of a crash involving a Toyota Kluger station wagon, a Toyota RAV4, a Mazda CX-5 and a semi-trailer.
Seven people in the cars were injured, with five being taken to hospital. Three of the car occupants were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital (one via helicopter) in a serious but stable condition. Two other people were taken to a local hospital, while two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
The road was closed for more than three hours, but has since opened.
