Grand Final Fever Takes Over Town

THIS WEKEEND IN LOCAL FOOTY

Grand Final fever is set to take over the region this weekend, with our four local footy leagues gearing up for their games.

For the Spencer Gulf League South Augusta are aiming for 5 premierships in a row when they face PropRison at Memorial Oval tomorrow. Last year the team beat Solomon Town by 43 points.

For the North Eastern Football League, B.S.R are looking for redemption, after losing the premiership to Blyth Snowtown in 2019. Tomorrow they are going head to head with South Clare at Clare.

For the Northern Areas League, it could be a close one with the undefeated Orroroo facing Broughton-Mundoora who are looking to score themselves another trophy after their 2019 premiership win. The game will take place at Crystal Brook tomorrow.

West Whyalla have had an incredible season for the Whyalla Football League, but will they see it through till the end? They are facing Central Whyalla at Bennett Oval tomorrow, with Whyalla News Medal recipient Ciaran Hollingworth-Hughes set to be on the field, ready and waiting.
