School Holiday Fun in Whyalla

The school holidays are coming to an end but the Whyalla Public Library are moving full steam ahead, as they host another ‘School Holiday Session’ online tomorrow.

The online sessions have been a hit over the last two weeks and were crafted for children to enjoy getting creative at home with their families.

Staff members Chris and Ali have created the crafty program which has seen a diverse range of themes. ‘A Sea in my Bedroom’ was read to viewers last week, where children were then able to create their own cuttlefish as well as a sock octopus.

The online sessions take place on Wednesdays and Fridays and are set to continue on a weekly basis, with more information at our website.

Children can expect to make ‘Pom Pom Shooters’ and ‘Juggling Balls’ in the upcoming sessions and also try their hand at making ‘Bird Feeders’.
